The fact u cant change the ingame nick in tf2 and it uses the friends nick = fail imo.
what if u play for several clans and dont want to tag up in your friends list? what if u want to take a funny nick? besides that, the friends-tag ingame dont work at all, shows random players as friends. and if u change your nick via console, it switches back everytime u change server / mapchange. and what if u dont want to use friends at all? imo the system used in earlier games is way better.
