This varies case by case.  If I set affinity using firedaemon the server
experiences weird lag spikes until I remove the affinity.  I've heard some
people say it made a difference and others who had issues.

I'm no Windows Server maverick (rly), but we saw noticeable  
improvements setting each srcds process to a specific core (by way of  
FireDaemon). CPU usage declined, gameplay improved.

Hardly scientific, but feedback none the less.
