For Linux Killing Floor server admins - there does appear to be an issue
with the version of the Linux server depots that are up on HLDS right
now. They should function properly, but they aren't allowing users to
accumulate perks. It appears that the binaries didn't get updated
properly in the version that is on HLDS, as this functioned properly in
our test builds. We'll get the updated binaries out to you ASAP, and we
apologize for the inconvenience.

Thanks

I've e-mailed John my config and error log and he's passing it on to
the developers it sounds like.
