ooohhhh man just imagine the phishing possibilities by "rogue" server admins if that functionality was implemented. Playing a game, and then an "official" looking login screen pops up prompting you to "re-authenticate with the Steam cloud or be kicked from the server in 30 seconds" - Steam support would be working overtime helping users get their accounts back.
I imagine some of you here could come up with some really cool stuff too, stuff that could greatly benefit their community. Oh well :( --mauirixxx -----Original Message----- From: hlds-boun...@list.valvesoftware.com [mailto:hlds-boun...@list.valvesoftware.com] On Behalf Of Jonah Hirsch Sent: Wednesday, February 10, 2010 9:40 AM To: Half-Life dedicated Win32 server mailing list Subject: Re: [hlds] steam:// protocol commands I'd have to assume that more people would fall for phishing in the overlay than in the motd.
