Trail and error ;) See what happens and feedback.

It's not exactly a banking financial transaction, so what's the worst that
could happen - if you're ok with that, you have nothing to lose.

Subject: [hlds_apps] AdminMOD mySQL limits

Could anyone who knows more about the workings of adminmod, or who has tried
it with a large number of users comment:

At the moment I'm looking at importing around 5000 SteamID's initially into
a mySQL database to give certain users priority access to servers (via
reserved slots) - implementing this is fine, but I'm a bit concerned with
how adminmod will handle this...

Usually when the servers load up I can see the adminmod status message shows
that it has loaded X number of users - does it load these users into memory,
or is that just a count of all the rows in the db table?

Will it handle thousands of ID's? Boomtown I know do something similar, is
anyone from Boomtown on this list?

We see around 30,000 unique SteamID's a month at present, and I'm guessing
perhaps 10,000 of them will take the time to add their ID to the database -
is this likely to make adminmod/hlds spew?
