we had some serious trouble on last big LAN with CS serveur taking suddenly 45% CPU on 
a P4 1.5GHz (during playtime not mapchanging) with only 10 players. All meta mods were 
off for that

I suspect now i real issue concerning last CS binaries.

  Weird. I have an old PIII 600EB server here with 256MB RAM which can't run
  one 16 player CS server without lagging to heck, and that's without
  pingboost. Same machine quite happily runs one 20 player RTCW server though.
  Go figure :)
