The next release has this ability, it tries to achieve the frame rate defined by the "sys_ticrate" cvar (which is 100 by default). It will be interesting to see the comments by players on this feature as the time between frames is no longer the same (it can't be because the sleep time is well below the minimum sleep time of the kernel, so it does multiple frames between each sleep).
