Overclocking the kernel? Then why does the 2.6 kernel come with HZ at 1000
as standard, and why have RedHat been sending out their kernels at 512Hz for
ages now?

Although 300 is probably fine for one server, which is surely all that can
be hosted well if they're decent sizes on an XP 1800+? Maybe two servers?
