I'm also having problem with high CPU usage. I've had this on all betas so
I'm running 29 for now, despite the pesky steam_id bugg.

Intel P4 3.0 ghz 1.2 gig ram slackware 10.2 kernel 2.6.15.3

16 player server, cpu goes up to 99% when players are online. Tried to run
the server without any plugins. Even tried to install a totally fresh copy
of hlds, same thing.
