I'll see what i can do about getting another admin to try though, so far it has just been me trying with HLSW. I checked the VAC thing on one updated server as well, HL2MP/CSS/DODS are all secure but with Hidden Source on the same install i get "version : 1.0.1.0/7 2677 insecure (secure mode enabled, connected to Steam3)" yet as i said with the "rollback" all the mods on the server are secured fine.
