Making back-ups and reverting to old versions and such isn't very useful when there is no backward compatibility in the client software.
Same story here by the way... All mods are switched off at the moment. In my opinion (oh dear.. here we go) it's a shame major changes, that could break mods, aren't communicated to the creators of the major CS:S mods (mani, beetle, etc) before they are implemented. If that would be done, they would be able to pre-release versions of their mods, that are compatible with the Valve releases and it would save many of us headache's trying to explain to the players on the servers (and in the case of GSP's to the customers) why their favorite mods aren't working. Giving some 'recognition' in that way to mods that run on a very large percentage of the source based servers, would be a thing beneficial to all parties involved (including Valve). --- Regime http://www.livebythegun.com/ aXeR (AmmoBOX) wrote: > Make backups ? > _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
