a link from about 6 years ago stepping through that process. Thanks :)

Worked like a charm for both hlds and srcds.

Whisper - I can't believe you're still on this list :) I wish firedaemon
had a Linux equivalent - that's I used to run my servers in the past.

Now, are there any web based front ends to deal with CS servers?

Why not just put your screen command in rc.local, and use su -C to make
it
execute as some non-root user?
