Hi, Is there anyone who has experience with running gameservers on an OS which is installed on top of a VMware ESX install?
If so, could you tell something about the performance (loss?) etc. We're thinking of installing VMware ESX on a new machine so we can run win2k3 and Debian etch side by side as some games don't have Linux support straight away, in that case we could fall back on windows if there is no significant performance loss.
