It's very rare, but I have seen corrupted files show up in installations in the past. If that is what's happened here, I'd recommend trying two things to attempt to clear it up:
First, delete InstallRecord.blob and re-run the update. If that works, you're golden. If that fails, delete InstallRecord.blob and move or rename your DoD:S subdirectory out of the directory structure for the Source engine. That will force a complete re-install while preserving your configuration files and any additional maps that you may have added. > > ------------------------------ > > Message: 6 > Date: Wed, 10 Dec 2008 16:44:34 +0100 > From: xLnT <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] Problems with DoD:Source > To: Half-Life dedicated Linux server mailing list > <hlds_linux@list.valvesoftware.com> > Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-15; format=flowed > > What? > I have all files that steam provide me with. > How can that be that there are files missing then? > > Kind Regards > > _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
