Or maybe because HLstats binds to the internal IP instead of
localhost? Makes more sense as if HLstats was bound to localhost it
would not be accessible externally. I very much doubt it's an engine
limitation, make a simple socket server bound to localhost and see if
the game server tries to connect to it :)
