I'm not sure how it works, but perhaps you could submit a unsubscribe request, and then the other guy would be able to unsub? Or he would unsub you... I have no idea, but I'm getting the idea, that it's impossible to unsubscribe (havn't tried, just read) and to block someone from the list.
