~~~ well ... we were fooling ourselves weren't we. ;) i mean ... with two or three folks ... you can maintain a thread ... but as soon as you get 4 ... the stability is disrupted ... and each tries to maintain a conversation with each of the others ... which results in 6 simultaneous threads!!! and no one wants to miss out on what anyone else is saying. but ... the up side of this chaos is ... it takes you to places you never would have thought of going ... you just get caught up in the flow and let it take you. perhaps we should call them Curl Jams. ;) ~~~ > Missed you last moday. > Thought you had already returned and the chat was supposed to be on > FreeFlow. ~~~ yes ... by the time i realized it was monday ... it was too late. i tend to lose track of the daze when at the lake. ;) ~~~ > How was your time with Ma Nature. > No sex operations this time, I hope. (LOL) ~~~ great!!! my wrens fledged from their home they made in my birdnest gourd hanging from the mulberry tree. i missed them last year ... as it all takes place in a period of only 10 minutes or so. but i happened to be right there and heard the mom trying to coax them out. the hole is not large ... but there were soon two heads sticking out ... and then three. one bailed out and flew into the high grass ... and then i looked back at the nest ... there were three heads poked out!!! they were all crammed together trying to exit at the same time ... eyeing a totally new world and voicing their protests. then the 2nd flew (sort of) to a branch. followed shortly by #3 and #4. i could hear them for the rest of the day ... as the parent(s) encouraged them to test their wings and to show them where to find shelter for the night. so i lucked out ... my timing was perfect. AND ... i had watched long enough so that when i saw those 3 heads poking out ... i ran to get my camera ... as it would have been a wonderful shot ...
