I am not sure OpenOffice has default support for opening wp51 files. After a google on wordperfect + openoffice I found: an external openoffice related project here, it mentions that support is not yet included (2003): http://wp.openoffice.org/filter.html > when I open these files still they turn up in > WinRAR files, and I am notified to register (with use of creditcard no > doubt) and I do not get an "open with" option anymore. You can to set which program handles the files with the said file extentions (rar/zip and other files) somewhere in the Windows Explorer (Tools - Folder Options - File types in XP). -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (MingW32) - WinPT 0.7.96rc1 iD8DBQFBSM87afIDcDZ0YksRAlHsAJ9fcIYeTIed+idVujZ2OMYhwTNK0QCgk0Aj uLjJuJchf07tXFu81kJd7hE= =QrUk -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------ Yahoo!
