I installed FireFox yesterday and I was
impressed. However, I ran into a problem: no sound -- neither midi files
nor "streaming media" played. I don't know if this is due to FireFox, my
installation, or some setting that I need to change. For those of you who
use FireFox, do you get sound?
FWIW, ran into another problem but found a
fix. In case anyone else runs into the same problem: FireFox crashed
repeatedly when I tried to import my IE settings. However, when I imported
one item at a time (from a list of things to import) rather than "all at once,"
no problem.
Also, for those who want to be overwhelmed with
technical information, the UseNet group alt.binaries.e-book.technical has about
a bizillion manuals and "how to" books on computers.
