don't understand.. my IE sings happily..don't I
already have a sound card???
=============
:-)
OK - sounds as if you have a sound card . . .
===========
do I need to change some settings or
such??
===========
seems that way . . .
there are different sounds that browsers
play
gonna have to get technical on ya . .
.
midi - (very small text files that are really a set
of instructions for your sound card to play a tune)
wav - bigger files just straight recordings can be
compressed - quality varies
firefox should play these - straight out of the
install . . .

well ... I am over 70.. is that a good xcuz

LOL - no need for excuses - yesterday I stripped
down an old computer
was all ready to put in the new motherboard when I
realised it would not fit
- should have known - ATX motherboard into an old
case
then spent a few minutes putting the newer
motherboard (which has no case) back together
- BUT could not even turn it on for the rest of the
day - turned out to be a loose connection (probably)
anyway how broad is this question of whether I have
done ALL I could???
sheesh...
==============
take it easy Sam
- computers are designed to be destressing - well
in the future they are . . .
==============
Is there a sound card on my
keyboard???
===========
Yesterday if someone would have asked me - have you
tried turning it on
or are the connections tight I would have eaten
them
- (assuming they were a fish)
NOW - your soundcard is inside your
computer
on a card or on a chip - there are USB soundcards
and some other externals
BUT your IE works so Firefox will too
=============
How's life Lob???
==========
Good.
If you go to (in firefox)
tools
options
downloads
file types
- you will see what plug ins are there . .
.
If you want to play mp3's or whatever then
contacting
firefox may be the best bet - I am new to
Firefox
meanwhile use IE - it works and has up to now ..
.
Cheers...
===========
I am exasperating (just like a
computer)
so take it easy - go fishing or something . . .
COMPUTERS ARE NOT WORTH IT
- trust me I am a cructacean
