Hello Suleyman,

It is interesting what you say abou the X-box
because extreme tweaking has a price
- I think it is worth it.

Most people dual boot - but I throw both Windows
(and would too with Linux) around so much that
they always seem to conflict . . .

Here is a review of the Gnome based Beatrix
http://www.tuxs.org/beatrix.htm

Very impresssed with this - I got bored with it very quickly
which means it works . . .
(an OS is a background thing)

I also preferred Puppy Linux over Damn small linux (DSL)
- especially as the Puppy team are working on a new
one called 'hairy nosed wombat' - it looks
and feels like 95/98
so very easy to use for some

I do not know Konqueror well enough
to not like it - always seemed OK to me.

The conference thing is something I will try and arrange so we can check it out
- do you have a time (GMT based) that works for you?

Gaim I looked at again and it seems very popular
- so is obviously good - I could not configure it
and it was not a priority

Below are the links from Puppy - which I think are good
and look at MS trying to spread disinformation . . .

Naughty guys!
