Hello Suleyman, Thanks :-)
Easy when you know how. I did try the software you mention but it did not work for me (I think I was over complicating things) However I have now burned ISO images on windows using Burncdcc http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/utilities.html This burns CD images on a CD writer (and does nothing else) Well I will try burning some live CD's . . . tried Beatrix Linux based on Gnome - 200 meg download - very easy and simple (new release for October 2004 - so worth waiting for that - they use Firefox) but the one I liked is Puppy Linux (I did put feather on my USB keyring) another small distro. You boot up (you need 256 of ram for this) and then you remove the CD Now the whole of the OS and all the software is running from ram - so it is fast (however the video driver did not use the voodoo card so screen refresh should have been faster m m m) Puppy is interesting because it can create an area on your hard disk for storage - even though running from Linux. It also has a button to createe a key ring image of itself - that I will try Do I put Linux on a separate partition and dual boot (as everyone says is possible and easy) m m m . . . Probably not quite yet (I would do this on a second machine) Still running the Xbox Linux - what you up to now? Best regards, Lobster >Hi Lobster > > Glad to hear you were finally able to burn an iso. When I am using >windows I use a program called burnatonce. Nothing fancy but works well >for me.
