>What are your favorite/most effective routines for building endurance?<
I believe good endurance comes from a balance of three major components: (1) good embouchure mechanics, (2) strength and (3) good breath support. I won't discuss breathing here. When the mechanics are optimal, less strength is needed so endurance is enhanced. Good embouchure mechanics provide ease to horn playing in much the same way that a lever provides ease to heavy lifting. See: http://www.trumpetteacher.net/resources.html (Scroll down to article #3 Strength vs Leverage) My endurance strategy: (1) 15 minutes of The Balanced Embouchure exercises daily plus 5 to 10 minutes of lip slurs daily to develop and keep my mechanics as good as can be. (2) A 3 1/2 minute continuous long tone exercise in the upper register twice a week to develop and maintain muscular strength. Works for me. I'm satisfied with my endurance.
