Robert d wondered: A high school student asked me about the Anthem A-5000 horn recently, with the intent to buy one. I am not familiar with these at all. Can anyone recommend this horn? Or not?
********* I have always preferred the A-440 model. The A-5000 is over 11 times smaller, which is convenient for carrying (it fits in your pocket), but inconvenient if you don't want to switch mouthpieces, since the mp that comes with it is also pretty small. It's really great in the high register, which comes in handy if you want to play a Mozart concerto for your dog without bothering the neighbors.
