   Valerie, I take exception to your crass comparison of tinnitus to toenail 
fungus !?!  Tinnitus greatly affects us as hornplayers and music lovers in 
general so why are you taken aback by the interest?    I suffer with this 
problem and am very interested in how to combat it as much as possible.
