What's happening in Detroit is almost heartbreaking for anyone who cares about 
classical music and the men and women who make it.  This from the musicians 
website:

"It is with a heavy heart that the Musicians of the Detroit Symphony announce 
the departure of our entire percussion section.  Our valued colleagues are 
saying 'Good-bye' as they leave Detroit to continue their professional careers 
elsewhere."
