So we would have to specify the question more closely. For instance, what do you mean by "more water"? Do you really mean a greater volume of water you have to tip out, or that "bubbles" in the sound happen sooner? And is the difference really down to the metal? Are your two horns of the same wrap? the same bore? the same thickness of metal? Do you play them in the same place, is it always at the same temperature? In order to find out whether your hypothesis is correct, that the metal affects condensation, we would have to carry out a controlled experiment, so as to eliminate all the possible confounding factors.
