As for having eBay shipping to a temporary address there may be problems, if 
you pay by card or by PayPal, which require addresses to be verifiable to cover 
losses or other problems.

An option maybe working for some would be about buying one of the small high Bb 
horns coming out of China. Whether they take a practice mute for trumpet or for 
flugelhorn may vary. Their chromatic range goes to B natural below middle C (in 
normal horn F notation). What I would like to know is whether they allow for 
fake notes down to their pedal range and beyond.
