Steven,

I dug the Blue Danube, too, but I do have to say that this kind of
treatment doesn't always fly. If you listen the the Eine kleine
Nachtmusik arrangement by the same pianist/leader (and I don't suggest
doing this if you expect to enjoy what you hear) you will hear
something so extremely awkward and lifeless as to be too painful to
watch all the way through (for me). This is the exact opposite of what
makes the other tunes so enjoyable and "kickass" (my thanks and all
credit to John M.).

You win some, you lose some. That's life.

My best,

Peter Hirsch

??? Ha Ha!? I like it!!? I especially like the Blue Danube.? I'm
guessing the name Hoved?en Social Club is a comment on the Buena Vista
Social Club.? The other name, Kringkastingsorkesteret (KORK), I don't
know, Klaus I think you're our only hope for that one.? Honestly, I
think the orchestra gets the style better than most American
orchestras would.? You can find that cimbasso player on some other
videos if you look around YouTube.? It probably doesn't work in some
places for copyright reasons because it's been released on Sony
Mexico.?
??? PS, how 'bout that tonquing?
