We did an experiment like this many years ago. It was during a summer program that Wally Easter was holding at VA Tech and we consistently identified the horn as being the horn commonly used by the player, regardless of what horn they were actually holding. While having quality equipment that matches your sound concept is extremely helpful, at the end of the day it's not the car - it's the driver.
