They do chrome plate those drum and bugle corps horns (oops, forget I mentioned 
those).  I don't know, I think it would be a little garish on a horn.  Kind of 
like chrome plating a grand piano, you'd have to be Liberace for that.  I have 
seen some Holtons that a school district asked to be bright nickel plated.  
They looked...well ok they looked awful.
