...And don't do what I did once in the cold, no matter what valve oil you
use. Some years back I went out with my horn caroling at Christmas season
with a troup of boy scout singers. It was very cold, and after just a carol
or two, my horn froze up solid. No matter how much hot air I produced (and I
am very experienced at making hot air, mind you), my valves would not move.
   That's when my singing career began.
