The University of Oklahoma School of Music announces the availability
of Graduate Assistantships for 2003.  Assistantship areas include, but
are not limited to:  Horn Studio, Music Appreciation, Jazz Studies,
Recording Technology, Librarian.

It is possible to obtain a split GA position for those with multiple
talents.

Horn GA Responsibilities:

Teach non-major horn, teach brass methods to undergraduate education
students, assist with directing the OU Hornsemble.

Qualifications:

Successful completion of Bachelor's or Master's Degree.  Significant
accomplishment in performance.  For DMA applicants, evidence of work in
the professional field (education/performance) is strongly encouraged.

Stipends:

.25 Graduate Assistantship  $4017 (first year)
.50 Graduate Assistantship  $8034 (first year)

Other benefits:

.50 GA's get a waiver for all resident and non-resident fees for the
first 6 hours enrolled per semester
-Presently these G.A.'s receive single health insurance coverage
