Hi all:

While eagerly awaiting the delivery of my new Reynolds Chambers for college
that fall and having lost the use of the school horn I was using, a friend (now
deceased)
loaned me his Linz to use in the interim. This was in 1960, so I am guessing
a post-war manufacture, probably in the early to middle 50's. As best I can
remember, it was ns, a dead copy of a 6-D, and it was heavy! All that was
inscribed on the bell was Linz Artist. I don't remember any indication as to
country of origin, and I assumed it was Austrian, German, or maybe Czech.

I am surprised that after all these years I can still come up with these
sometimes not
so useless tidbits. :-)
