7/8 is often conducted in three strokes 1-2  3-4  5-6-7 or 1-2-3  4-5
6-7  or in two plus three.

It is a mistake conducting 1-2 & 3-4 plus a triplet 5-6-7 on the third
beat. This happen with many poor conductors.
