As an adult member of the amateur part of "the world", I have to wonder if triples could ever become affordable AND uncompromised. I know "affordable" is extremely relative, but if nice new doubles can be had for $2500-3500, what would a triple have to sell for to make a run in the amateur market, $3500-4500? Isn't that about half what triples run these days? Besides having them made in China, what possibly could be done to make them viable to any but professionals and wealthy amateurs?

I would be interested in people's thoughts on the triple horn. Sorry if this has been discussed in detail before.
