What an interesting dichotomy we have, first we have our correspondent
praising "people who aren't afraid to converse energy. . ." then our
correspondent complains about ". . . our policy makers. . ."

Energy issues are much more than about ". . . praising with enthusiastic
tone every century but this and every nation but his own. . ."

You also have mass transit, people who aren't afraid to conserve energy and

buy more economical cars, and are unafraid to find and use alternative
energy
sources.

If America was like that so much of that excess energy could be used for
more important things and we wouldn't have to worry about global warming as
much
or even gas prices if we didn't have to depend on them so much.

Gotta love our policy-makers in America. *shakes head*
