the Social Impact category!

Dear Open Data Awards nominees,

I’m writing to share with you some good news – you have been shortlisted
for an Open Data Award <http://awards.theodi.org/>.

We have had a fantastic response this year with 500 nominations for
innovative and inspirational uses of open data across the world, from
Uruguay to Brazil, Italy to Ukraine.

Because the standard of nominations for each of our five categories was so
high, shortlisting was a real challenge, so well done for getting to this
stage.

What happens next?

   -

In the next step of our review process, our judges will assess the
shortlists, rank their top three and send them back to us by Monday 22
   June.

   -

We will get in touch with the 3 finalists for each award category to let
them know they have been selected from 22 June.

   -

We will then ask that all finalists ensure that they, or a
representative, are able to attend the awards ceremony on 9 July at the
   Bloomberg offices in London.

This is crucial, as winners will be announced on the night and someone will
need to claim your award. Our founders, Sirs Tim Berners-Lee and Nigel
Shadbolt will announce the winners in person on the night.

Thank you for being a part of the Open Data Awards 2015, and good luck!
