I agree. Google Analytics is the way to go, but make sure to sign up for
Webmaster Tools as well. I'm actually writing a set of CFCs that integrate
with all of Google's APIs so that you can pull data from Google Analytics,
Webmaster Tools, Gmail, Calendar, etc and write your own reports or analysis
with the data. Yahoo also has an analytics program that I haven't looked in
to yet, but I use the Yahoo Site Explorer for SEO research, so I'll be
tapping in to their platform too to see what kind of data they have
available.

Subject: [houcfug] Coldfusion and Web Stats

Greetings all.

How are ya'll tracking web stats?

There is a way to get some info on webstats via iis logfiles and CF but I'm
looking for something a bit more robust.

WebTrends is nice but it's just way to expensive. It would be great to have
something similar though.

Google Analytics and CF may provide a good solution.

If anybody has worked with Google Analytics I'd be interested in your
impression of it.
