Hi everybody there.
Please, need some help:
Have a Celeron and a Pentium-III 800 MHz 256 MB-ram 40 GB HD, both with
Linux Operating System Knoppix-Debian. distro 3.6.17.
The two computers are clients on a 8 machines local network in wich a HP
Deskjet D1360 is shared from a Windows-XP server. rest of net clients are
WinXP.
Well, I have downloaded and installed the HPLIP 1.6.9 software in both
Linux/Debian/Knoppix machines... All good with configuration across the CUPS
system to take the net shared printer... Except that the sended printer jobs
do not accoplish. After send a printer job, either linux-machines, the
HP-D1360 begin to move mechanism sounding like paper-sheet being taken, and
suddenly stops all task... No more movements inside printer... Then I need
turn-off (unplug) printer to erase data to make new jobs from another
sources of network. The effect is only when jobs came from Linux-machines...
Uninstall and re-install hplip give same results. Format HD of Pentium
machine to make clean new install of Knoppix do not make best the hplip
performance. Same effect.

If there are a patch or some to make work HP-D1360 from
Linux/Debian/Knoppix, please tell me.

VERY THANKS.

ADOLFO.
