I have an HP PSC 2355 All-in_one running under Suse 10.1 linux. It
prints fine without any problem but I cannot get it to scan. So I found
the HPLIP site and downloaded hplip-1.7.1.run automatic installer file.
Howver when I run the shell command the program hangs after the
dependency conflict resolution stage. I see from your notes that this
is a known issue but I cannot get round it by the suggested methods of
hitting the enter key (or tab and enter key) repeatedly. The directory
from where i ran the shell command has a new folder hplip with 53 items
totalling 1.7Mg. Please advise how I proceed.

Many thanks

Jim Dickin
