Hi Aaron After I sent my previous reply, I decided that I wanted to change RAID levels, which meant reinstalling the OS from scratch. Apart from changing to use RAID 5, I am not aware of having installed FC6 differently in any way. However, something has obviously changed because now hp v1.7.2 works fine! So, I hope the info I gave in the previous mail was enough to track down the source of the issue, as I can no longer repeat the error (not that I am complaining :-).
