Hi Aaron

After I sent my previous reply, I decided that I wanted to change RAID
levels, which meant reinstalling the OS from scratch.  Apart from
changing to use RAID 5, I am not aware of having installed FC6
differently in any way.  However, something has obviously changed
because now hp v1.7.2 works fine!  So, I hope the info I gave in the
previous mail was enough to track down the source of the issue, as I can
no longer repeat
the error (not that I am complaining :-).
