I am trying to use gscan2pdf to make a multiple page pdf file from
scanned images. http://gscan2pdf.sourceforge.net/ The problem I have is that it does not work with my scanner for some reason. The program installs but gives error messages when I try to run it. The program author is VERY helpful and he has looked at the debug output from the program. His view is that the program is working but there is some problem in getting it to work with this scanner. My scanner is an HP Scanjet 3970 http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=298548&lang=en& and I am running Ubuntu 7.04 with the latest kernel and all patches installed. I understand that the output of scanimage –help may be of assistance so that is as follows [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ scanimage --help Usage: scanimage [OPTION]...
