Hello, I want to scan hi-resolution b/w pages. So I entered:
scanimage -d hpaio:/net/HP_LaserJet_3055?ip=192.168.22.100 --resolution 600 --mode lineart --compression None > test.pnm The resulting file test.pnm has nominally 600 dpi, but every 2x2 pixel have the same color, so the image has actually only 300 dpi. The same with Xsane. What should I do? I'm already using hplip version 2.7.6.
