6310 All-in-One) but after downloading the drivers I am getting this
error message every time I do an update: "e:hplip:subprocess
post-installation script returned error exit status 1" and it will print
some things decently but not most and not consistently.
I've attached a screenshot for you but not sure if you can read it very
well that way. (I had to delete this and resend since it was too big)
The problems with printing are major with photo's, it doesn't show CUPS
in the menu when I try to print a photo and I can't get any normal photo
choices for printing. Ie: when I print a document I am given choices for
everything from A4, letter, envelope, and photo sizes like 4x6, 8x10
etc. When I try to print a .jpg or .bmp I am only given choices of A4,
letter, legal......or custom. When I try custom it's a night mare, I
can't get it do 4x6 (or others) and my printer says I have the wrong
paper size and to try again etc.
The other printing problems are when I print a document often it will
scrunch the lines all together, not at all how I have laid it out. This
happens when I print something off the internet too, one page had good
breaks to start then it all scrunched together for the last few
paragraphs. Other times my (document) print projects are perfect.
(I'm not complaining, your resource is excellent, it's me that is the
problem!)
