I upgraded to hplip 2.7.7, but still nothing. Nothing means that right now lsusb doesn't recognize the USB devices (at least in theory, as the mouse and the printer do move and print...) Moreover, I cannot scan since I cannot detect the scanner via USB. Finally, I cannot send a fax using hp-sendfax, as right now I cannot (lsusb wise) detect the printer/scanner/fax. Btw, how does one reply to a post within the thread in this mailing list?
