Hello,

I just bought a HP Photosmart C5180 All-in-one printer and I'm trying
to make it work using hplip.

I could make it work with the usb cable, but no success while the
printer is connected to my wifi network with the hp wireless upgrade
kit. However, it works on a windows machine connected to the network
with the windows drivers.

I've read the FAQ and Troubleshooting sections.

I can ping the printer network adapter :

  # ping 192.168.1.10
  PING 192.168.1.10 (192.168.1.10) 56(84) bytes of data.
  64 bytes from 192.168.1.10: icmp_seq=1 ttl=30 time=3.72 ms

but snmpwalk doesn't work :

  # snmpwalk -Os -c public -v 1 192.168.1.10 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.9.1.1.7.0
  Timeout: No Response from 192.168.1.10

Do I have the snmpd deamon running and configured ?

Thank you.

Best regards,
