After initial boot the first print job that I send to my printer will
just sit in the queue. The queue will state that it is processing the
job, but nothing happens. I will then go and cancel the job and resubmit
the same document or web page and it'll print just fine. This happened
to both my PSC2610v all-in-one, and my new Officejet Pro L7780. I have
found that if I print from my email client it'll print on the first
request no problem. It also dosen't make any difference if the printer
is off or on.

Set up info: uname -r = 2.6.22.9-91.fc7
                   email client = Thunderbird 2.0.0.5
the printer is setup on a LAN (wired 100Base-T)
I no longer have the PSC2610v and the L7780 is the replacement for it.

Logs do not indicate any errors. The HP-Toolbox GUI shows the device
unavailable until I cancel the first job. I am able to ping the device
while this is happening. The GUI for the gnome printer control panel
shows no problem, but will hang if I send a test page.
