Thanks, George!
Gotta admit, I do want to give a little financial support to some of the
casts I listen too as well as some of the good browser add-ons I run. You
seem to have no hard feelings about using the thing!
I would expect that a 'caster would be better off both with a prominent
button display as well as mentions in his show.
I heard early on they had a swedish browser add-on that shows a button if
the website has a hidden text tag in the webpage, so a person could have
the button show up just for flatter users, I wonder if that is still done,
and in english.
Thanks for the reply!

I'm running flattr on The CerebralRift. Personally, I don't know that
it's done all that well for me in terms of defraying costs, I've only
brought in a little money. OTOH this could have more to do with the
link for flatter being in my websites footer, and not necessarily being
as visible as it really should be. This is something I have plans on
changing soon.
But, the flip side of flatter (which has been beneficial) has been in my
ability to quickly tip several of the netlabels that I routinely get new
releases from.
I know that some podcast publishing software allows embedding your
flattr link in the RSS feed. I haven't looked into this yet.

Hello, HPR congress,
Wondering about how anybody here feels about flattr. You are my peers
and I would like your opinions! BTW, both for "flattr in general" as
well as "flattr for HPR contributors/hosts" as well as "HPR being
flattr-able itself to defray costs."
Just looking for opinion as I am considering opening a flattr account
to
give, but wondering about receiving too. You know the deal, "look
before you leap."
Thank You,
