It's hard to know what to make of this, since you don't mention what
version you're using or what the "previous versions are."

I take it that you have installed a new version. Generally it's a good
idea to re-run htfuzzy to gnerate synonym or endings databases after
installing a new version--there are sometimes small differences (or in the
case of 3.2, LARGE differences) in the format of the databases.
